About Westminster

Westminster is a great city, known for being home to one of the largest Little Saigon enclaves, a thriving shopping mall, and a variety of community events. It’s also one of the many cities in Orange County where we offer in-home music lessons. Because of the many theaters and other performance outlets Westminster has to offer, we’ve taught countless motivated students in the area.

Voice Lessons in Westminster

At Molly’s Music, we don’t favor one technique or style of music over others. We teach our students to sing what they’re most passionate about. For many people taking singing lessons in Westminster, that style is musical theatre, as they prepare for auditions and performances at the Rose Center Theater or Westminster Community Theater. Plenty of others prefer working on pop, R&B, or choral music, and we’re just as happy to work with students in these genres.

Whether you’re hoping to be the next Pavarotti, the next Katy Perry, or the newest Westminster karaoke singer, we’ll pair you with a teacher who can help you achieve your goals.

Piano Lessons in Westminster

Most of our students in the area opt for in-home piano lessons in Westminster, but some opt to hop on the 405 to our Costa Mesa studio in order to play on our beautiful Kawai grand piano.

The piano is often perceived as a stodgy instrument that belongs in a different era, but we help our students learn how exciting and current piano lessons can be. While we love teaching classical piano lessons and believe that traditional piano lessons can be extremely valuable, we also see the piano as a great pop and jazz instrument, perfect for musical theatre lovers and singer-songwriters alike. One of our specialties is teaching our singers to accompany themselves. What could be more cathartic?

Guitar Lessons in Westminster

While the piano may have an unfair reputation for being antiquated, this is far from the case with the guitar. The guitar is one of our most popular instruments, and it’s easy to see why. Most pop or rock songs that you can name from the last few decades likely have a guitar in them. It’s the most often-used singer-songwriter instrument and is a beautiful standalone instrument as well.

Because Molly’s Music specializes in artist development, we encourage our vocal students to take up an accompaniment instrument and our instrument students to learn to sing. The majority of our guitar and piano instructors also teach voice lessons, so we’re more than happy to pair you with a teacher who can help you with both. If you’re already taking guitar lessons in Westminster, and want to add vocal instruction into your routine, just say the word!
