Aly started her music career young with her first guitar lesson at the age of 10, her first band through Project Rock Band at the age of 11, her first student at the age of 13, and her first EP, Forever Young (out on iTunes and Spotify) at the age of 14. Aside from guitar, she has also picked up the bass guitar, piano, ukulele, and tipple and is an award-winning songwriter. Aly graduated in 2017 from OCSA’s Integrated Arts Program, studying musical theater, dance, art, production and design, and singing. She has been a vocal student of Molly Webb’s for 6 years and participated in OC Glee, recitals, and many other performance opportunities.
In 7th grade she put together the teen band 5 Minutes Late, who she performed with for 5 years in multiple famous venues such as Slidebar Cafe in Fullerton, House of Blues Hollywood, and Stagecoach in San Juan Capistrano. Aly’s experience playing in a rock band and as a solo singer-songwriter led to more songwriting and performances, awards, auditions for TV commercial music, and opportunities to be in multiple music videos.
Currently, Aly works with multiple local teen bands and soloists in the Orange County music scene, and performs monthly throughout Southern California. She teaches according to each student’s individual wants and skill levels, including how to accompany their singing on guitar.
