About San Clemente

San Clemente is a gorgeous city by the beach, made even better by the excellent schools and great music opportunities. San Clemente High School has fantastic music groups that have performed at New York City’s famous Carnegie Hall. Additionally, because San Clemente is in the Capistrano Unified School District, the city’s high school students are able to audition for South Orange County School of the Arts, or SOCSA.

Voice Lessons in San Clemente

We’ve taught countless in-home Singing lessons in San Clemente, and helped our students nail auditions for several of San Clemente’s various choirs, the Madrigals in particular. We’ve also helped our students prepare for auditions for and within SOCSA. With so many excellent programs in the area for kids and teens to participate in, it’s no wonder that vocal lessons are in high demand there.

But it isn’t just high school programs we help our students with. At Molly’s Music, our music instruction is always geared toward individual interests, whether it be pop, classical, musical theatre, or country. We believe that students learn best when they’re singing what they love, and we’ve worked with everyone from young kids to older adults, and from shower singers to pros.

Piano Lessons in San Clemente

The piano is the instrument we most recommend for young beginners who want to get an overview of music basics. The musical alphabet on a keyboard progresses in a linear way that makes sense even to very young children. But it’s not just kids we recommend piano lessons to. Often, we teach piano lessons in San Clemente to more advanced students working on their SOCSA material.

The piano is also an excellent singer-songwriter instrument. Many current artists, like Sara Bareilles, John Legend, and Emeli Sande are piano-based songwriters. When we work with singers looking for an accompaniment instrument, we focus on a chordal approach to piano instruction that gets students accompanying themselves in no time.

Guitar Lessons in San Clemente

Even more popular than the piano as a singer-songwriter instrument is the guitar. Guitars are wonderful for their portability, versatility, and commercial sound. Because Molly’s Music specializes in singing and artist development, we highly encourage our singers to take up an accompaniment instrument. If you’re interested in singing and playing the guitar, we’re more than happy to send a teacher your way who can help you with both.

While some students prefer to travel to one of our three Orange County music studios, most families in the area choose the comfort and convenience of in-home guitar lessons in San Clemente. Whether you’re hoping for acoustic or electric guitar lessons, classical or contemporary, we’re excited to help you on your journey.
