About Santa Ana

Because of the city’s central location, our Santa Ana students have a few great options for private music lessons: traveling to our Orange studio, just 2 freeway exits from OCSA, going to our Costa Mesa studio, or opting for in-home music lessons.

Voice Lessons in Santa Ana

When we expanded Molly’s Music from Molly’s little in-home studio, Santa Ana was one of our first destinations because so many of her students attended the famous Orange County School of the Arts. Over the years we’ve worked with countless OCSA students and know there’s never any shortage of incredibly talented students taking singing lessons in Santa Ana.

It’s not only OCSA that connects us to Santa Ana, though. The city is packed with music venues. At Molly’s Music, we’re focused on development of the individual student, and the open-mic nights in Santa Ana are perfect for our budding vocalists to hone their skills. The Gypsy Den in the famous Santa Ana art district has been a frequent performance spot for our students and teachers alike. It’s been a long-time favorite of our teacher Janelle, who used to perform there regularly as a featured singer-songwriter, and it’s been the home of many of our adult “kick-back” recitals. We encourage our teenage vocal students to participate in open-mic nights as often as possible, and we enjoy helping them get ready for their performances.

Piano Lessons in Santa Ana

From working with piano students in OCSA’s incredibly competitive instrumental program to helping vocalists accompany themselves Sara Bareilles-style at the many local Santa Ana venues, we’ve taught a wide variety of piano lessons in Santa Ana. Like the city itself, the piano is exceptionally versatile and is just as at home in a small Bohemian coffee shop as it is in a spacious concert hall. We work with our students to determine the setting they hope to one day play in (even if it’s their own living room), and create a program to help get them there.

Many Santa Ana student opt for in-home piano lessons for their convenience, but some opt to drive to our Costa Mesa studio, which features a beautiful Kawai grand piano.

Guitar Lessons in Santa Ana

Since Santa Ana is one of the more traveled singer-songwriter hubs in Orange County, it’s not difficult to guess that there are plenty of students looking for guitar lessons in Santa Ana. Many of our guitar students want to learn the guitar as a stand-alone instrument, but we also have a significant number who want to accompany themselves while they sing or write their own songs. Almost all of our instrument teachers are also voice teachers or vocal coaches, so we’ll happily pair you with a teacher who can work with you on both. We’ve frequently worked with Santa Ana guitar students on preparing to play and sing for their Commercial Music audition at OCSA.

Whether you’re interested in strumming while you sing Taylor Swift songs or want to work on your shredding, we’ll happily pair you with the right teacher.
