Music Lessons in
Seal Beach

Fun Fact: The Seal Beach River Jetty where Ocean Avenue ends with the river channel is a great beginner’s surfing spot – one side is locally called Crabs and the other is called Barracudas, or Barries. Sarah’s surf teacher said there really were barracudas, but she’s beginning to think that’s a lie!

Voice Lessons in Seal Beach

Seal Beach is in the Los Alamitos School District, and although the Orange County School of the Arts moved from Los Alamitos to Santa Ana in 2000, the district still maintains one of the best vocal arts programs in the country. Two of the choirs at Los Alamitos High School are National Grand Champions. It isn’t surprising that we’ve taught plenty of singing lessons in Seal Beach devoted to choir auditions.

But whether you’re hoping to audition for a choir, to try your luck (and skill) at Broadway auditions one day, or sing in a rock band, we’re excited to work with you. Our vocal lessons are tailored to the individual, and we’ll work with your unique set of goals and abilities to make sure you succeed.

Piano Lessons in Seal Beach

The piano is one of the most often-chosen first instruments, and with good reason. The way the keyboard is laid out makes it perfect for music students to get a good visual representation of early music theory. But it isn’t just students looking for a great music theory foundation who can benefit from piano lessons. At Molly’s Music, we teach a wide range of piano lessons in Seal Beach, from classical piano lessons to chordal lessons that help singers quickly learn to accompany themselves.

So whether you’re hoping to be the next Vladimir Horowitz, the next John Legend, or just the next relative to play Christmas songs at your family’s holiday party, we’re excited to help you meet your goals.

Guitar Lessons in Seal Beach

With all the fun seaside music going on, it’s easy to see why students would be signing up for guitar lessons in Seal Beach. The guitar is practically indispensable for a rock band and is probably the most used singer-songwriter instrument as well. After listening to a wide variety of musical genres (most of which use a guitar) being performed on the pier, who wouldn’t want to take up the instrument?

As with our other lessons, we’ll tailor your guitar program to your specific set of interests. If you want to rock out in a band one day, we’ll help you along, and if you’re hoping to strum along while you sing at a local open mic night, we’ll work with you to achieve that goal as well. Because almost all of our instrument teachers are also voice teachers or vocal coaches, we’d be happy to help you combine the two disciplines for your convenience.
